At the age of 17, it looks like pop-music internet sensation Justin Bieber has officially moved from making music history, to changing the face of our legal system. In responding to claims of paternity from an as-of-yet unnamed mother of a 3 month old infant, Bieber’s legal team is about to pull off a first [...]

Found something pretty spectacular today… A band of young kids that absolutely kill it. The lead singer could use some more “development” but the band is tight and the lead guitarist shreds! Metallica: Enter Sandman Guns N Roses: Sweet Child o’ Mine

On May 10th 2011, The Lonely Island released their 2nd major label album titled “Turtleneck & Chain”. This is their follow up to their 2008 release, “Incredibad”. I recently nabbed a copy of the new album and thought I’d throw down my opinions on the album.

The White Stripes announced they are breaking up, I caught the news on Yahoo.
Fans will be pleased to hear the band wasn’t breaking up for personal reasons, but to go out on top…
“The reason is not due to artistic differences or lack of wanting to continue, nor any health issues as both Meg and Jack are feeling fine and in good health,” a statement announced. “It is for a myriad of reasons, but mostly to preserve what is beautiful and special about the band and have it stay that way.”

The other day I was thinking about how I grew up listening to rap music.
The first bit of music I bought for myself was De La Soul – Me, Myself and I. The single. Sounds pretty funny to me now for some reason. But that song is still tight.
Now, I barely listen to rap or hip hop anymore. It just doesn’t really appeal to me like it used to. I could get into that whole “real rap is dead argument” but that’s pretty damn tired.
So today, I want to focus on some of my favorite songs from the 90s. I caught a lot of these on Rap City or Yo! MTV Raps for the first time and now they bring back a lot of good memories.

Music video director Emmett Malloy followed the band and managed to capture both the special tour, extraordinary concert versions of the band’s minimalist, raw… See the video here.

Dub Kweli is a remix project by Max Tannone. It features the lyrics of Talib Kweli and the music of classic dub and reggae! It is the follow-up to Max’s “Mos Dub” remix project.
