#5 – Amanda Seyfried
The 24-year old actress plays Sarah Henrickson, Bill Paxton’s daughter on Big Love. I usually watch the show, and Sarah is one good reason to tune in.
She’s attractive in what I can only describe as an alien sort of way. Amanda has one of those cool V-shaped faces. Prominent cheek bones, nice eyes, full lips. Almost like Milla Jovovich in Fifth Element. Natasha Henstridge in Species. Or a this hot E! talk show host.
Amanda has a very classy look going. Even though she plays a rebellious Mormon kid now, I could see her in a different type of role. Bond girl, maybe?
Here she is disproving the theory that hipster girls killed Trucker Hats. Still some life left, me thinks.
#4 – Ginnifer Goodwin
A.K.A Margie Heffman, the Mormon MILF on HBO’s Big Love. That’s right, consecutive BL picks.

- Plays a polygamist MILF on TV HBO.
- Her character is by far the freakiest of the wives. Margie gets down.
- Rocks pony tails and does other cool shit with her hair.
- Elfy Liv-Tyler ears.
Sad note: Ginnifer recently lost a few points in my book (that’s where I judge hot girls whom I could never get) when she chopped off all her hair.
Maybe she’ll grow it back soon. Go blonde again? Come back to us, blonde Margene. You were really, really hot.
Brunette is also good, after another look. I love you, angry/sultry Margene.

Honorable Mention: Goodwin’s fellow Big Lover Chloe Sevigny gets a nod. Uniquely attractive for sure, she just didn’t make the final cut.
#3 – Lady Gaga
When I first became aware of the Gaga phenomenon, I thought she was… maybe a little busted. Never really paid attention.
Then someone coerced me into watching Alejandro. I watched it again. x5. Yo quiero mucho all of a sudden. Complete 180°.
Don’t you guffaw at me, either. If her autotuned voice and hypnotic dances ever get in your skull, you might find yourself in the same boat.
Hater friends have told me that it’s all due to great makeup and Hollywood magic. BFD. You could say the same shit about anybody. She’s hot. My wife makes fun of me about it. Whatever. I’m standing firm.
If you’re on the fence about Gaga, or are still in hater-mode, watch Alejandro. There’s a reason it has 65 million views on Youtube. Fast-fwd to around the 3 minute mark to skip to the music. Maybe NSFW if your IT guys are dicks.
#2 – Zooey Deschanel
It’s the eyes.
Deschanel is reigning Queen of the strangely beautiful ones. I think a third of Reddit would kill a random stranger to sleep with her (side note: the pic they were drooling over was a fake, albeit a good one).
Deschanel’s uniquely attractive factors:
- Sexy bangs
- Big sky-blue eyes that are disarming
- Not slutty (hey — that’s strange these days)
- Milky Victorian complexion, no fakebake detected
In the pic below, Deschanel looks like the hottest nanny ever, circa 1965. Intrigued? Indignant? Been popping mother’s little helpers’? Whatever it is, it works.

#1 – Deborah Ann Woll
Deborah plays Jessica Hamby on True Blood. And she is a stunner in a very unique way. The 25-year old actress was a sleeper pick when first mentioned for inclusion. But as we did more research, everyone agreed that she is way-goddamn super-hot.

Not just a pretty face, she’s a solid actress,. Her character on True Blood is abrasive and needy, which bugs some people, but you can’t blame her for that. Woll does a very nice job playing the vulnerable, homicidal, and seductive vampire named Jessica.
Vous êtes belle, madame.

Check out this HBO interview. She seems pretty cool, down to earth. And that quote about her complexion is classic. She says her natural coloring is “gas leak white”. Genuinely self-effacing and hot? Weird.
What roles could she play after True Blood ends? Good show, but I question the longevity. Bill has a limited number of “Sooooooookies” left before everyone stops watching. Eric’s a lot cooler, seems like focus is shifting to him. Maybe it’ll last. Anyway…
Maybe something violent again. An updated version of Juliette Lewis’ Malory character? Or an athlete? Tennis player? Any role involving her in a Nike visor and tennis getup has implicit potential, in my opinion. Alas, my influence in Hollywood is not what it once was. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Well, there it is. Our top 5.
One weird trend that emerged is that 3/5 girls star in HBO shows. Probably just due to my personal TV habits. And maybe HBO’s tendency to cast uniquely attractive actresses. Unfortunately, HBO did not pay me to write this.
Note: Some people have said it’s a backhanded compliment saying “strangely attractive”. Not intended in that way at all. My goal was to highlight girls that don’t fit the stereotypical mold. DD implants, fakebake, etc.
